This Echo Super Vamper shows obvious signs of extensive use. There is plenty of dried mouth juices on the inside of the chambers. Ordinarily one would clean this crust off a harmonica with a brush but this is Sonny's DNA. The top cover (bottom for Sonny since he held the harp upside down) shows the classic semicircular stain from his lips. The backs of the covers are slightly bent showing the signs powerful grip with which Sonny held his harps. Most harmonica aficionados know that the Echo Super Vamper is the British equivalent of the Marine Band, which was marketed in the U.S. The only difference is the stamping on the top cover. Sonny was very fond of the Super Vampers but there are only a handful in the collection. The fact that it is an Echo Super Vamper, it shows significant signs of use, and it is still in very playable condition makes this a rare item.

The harmonica will be shipped in an attractive shadow box display case, and will include an 8X10 glossy black and white photo of Sonny - suitable for framing. An individually signed Certificate of Authenticity and Bill of Sale will also be included.
