Both versions feature Gloss White Powder Coated Covers with Jason’s artwork laser engraved into the top cover.  The bottom cover features the Blue Moon Harmonicas logo laser engraved and Jason’s autograph.  Jason has hand signed each individual cover.  A clear coat has been applied to the bottom cover to prevent his signature from rubbing off.

The Marine Band version is built with Marine Band Deluxe or Crossover reed plates (they are identical) and are tuned to 19-Limit Just Intonation @ A=442 Hz.  This is a very versatile tuning and is Jason’s favorite.  The action is set up medium tight for quick response and, assuming you have the skills, is overblow friendly on the 4, 5, and 6.

The Hohner Special 20/Rocket is easily the most popular custom harmonica I offer (and also the most popular custom comb).  So this year, we decided to offer a Rocket Amp version of the Jason Ricci Signature Edition Custom Harmonica for all the Special 20 / Rocket lovers.  It features either a Black Anodized Aluminum or Black DuPont™ Corian® comb (your choice).  The tuning and action are the same as the Marine Band version – 19-Limit, medium tight action.

Both versions are priced at $324.95 and will be available in limited quantities and a limited number of keys – G, A, Bb, C and D.

The harmonicas are available for immediate purchase.  I had hoped to be able to ship them in time for Christmas, but sometimes things don’t work out the way we plan.  My apologies, but they will be shipped by December 31, 2025.
