The harps are available in the most popular keys of G, A, Bb, C and D.
The majority of the harps are mono-color. In other words, a Black Nickel-Plated Comb with Black Nickel-Plated Covers, or Chrome Plated Comb with Chrome Plated Covers. Several are mix and match. For example, a Black Nickel-Plated Comb with Chrome Plated Covers, or the reverse – Chrome Plated Comb with Black Nickel-Plated Covers, or Chrome Plated Comb with Silver Plated Covers. Each listing on my website features photos of the actual harmonica described.
Prices range from $169.95 to $199.95. All the harps feature our Standard Blues Setup, which includes, of course, a custom Blue Moon Comb, Flat Sanded Draw Plate, each individual reed is checked for profile and centering, and the gaps are set for optimal response. Each harp is properly tuned to A=442 Hz. The Golden Melodys are tuned to Equal Temperament. The Special 20s are tuned to Modern Compromise Temperament. The Seydels are tuned to the Seydel version of Compromise Temperament. These harps are airtight, responsive, in tune and a pleasure to play. Although they are not set up specifically to be “Overblow/Overdraw Harps”, they all do easily overblow on the 4, 5 and 6. If you want a harp set up to play chromatically with full Overblow/Overdraw capability, there is an additional charge of $50 for the reed-work required.
