Suzuki Olives Mad Cat Tuning. This set features nine harmonicas built on Blue Moon Harmonicas Custom Clear Anodized Aluminum Combs. The set includes the following keys: Low F, G, A, Bb, C, D, Eb, E and F. Mad Cat Tuning is reportedly a tuning scheme developed by Peter “Mad Cat” Ruth. I personally built this set of harmonicas for John in December 2019. Mad Cat Tuning involved tuning some of the reeds to 440 and some of them to 442. I can’t even remember the exact formula and I can’t locate my notes. I just remember that when all was said and done, they were a lot like the tuning on the Hohner MS-Series of harps. Regardless, like the other harps that I have listed, these harps have all been tested and all reeds function perfectly. Potential buyers would be well advised to completely disassemble and thoroughly clean these harmonicas. They are in excellent condition and will be a fine addition to your collection. $400.00 (the combs alone are worth $300.00)
