Sonny Terry is most closely associated with Marine Bands and Golden Melodys but it should come as no surprise that he also played Blues Harps, Echo Super Vampers and Special 20s among others. As a long time Hohner Endorsee no doubt Sonny was given a variety of models to play and promote. This Blues Harp is a perfect example. The Blues Harps from that era used the same reed plates as the Marine Band but with different covers.

This harmonica shows clear signs of extensive use.  The top cover is dmaged - not from playing.  Perhaps someone sat on it or stepped on it.  The covers are tarnished and crushed at the back from playing.

The harmonica will be shipped in an attractive shadow box display case, and will include an 8X10 glossy black and white photo of Sonny - suitable for framing. An individually signed Certificate of Authenticity and Bill of Sale will also be included.
