Built-to-Order Hohner Thunderbird
The Marine Band Thunderbird offers is tuned one octave lower than standard harps and features an innovative tapered bottom cover design to prevent reed rattle. Blue Moon Harmonicas offers the Thunderbird with a wide variety of custom combs:

The Thunderbird is available as a standard harmonica or as a Double Reed Plate Harmonica. The Double Reed Plate version features an additional component that is attched to each reed plate which serve to make the reed plates thicker. Thicker plates create larger reed slot chambers which means that each time the reeds swing through the slots, they move more air. The result is increased volume, better responsiveness and a rich tone.
