Jason Ricci Signature Series Fully Chromatic Harps – Full Overblow/Overdraw Setup

These are the very same harmonicas that Jason performs with on stage and in the recording studio.  They are built with Hohner Crossover Reed Plates, Phenolic Resin Combs and Custom Covers.  They are available in six different keys, three different color resin combs and three different custom covers.

The custom covers featuring Jason’s original artwork were created via a three-step process.

1. Powder Coated Gloss White
2. Jason’s Artwork Laser Etched on to the covers
3. A second Clear Coat Powder Coat to protect the artwork

The reed plates have been expertly customized to enhance the performance of the harmonica.  These are Fully Chromatic Diatonic Harmonicas via the use of Overblows and Overdraws.  They were created for advanced players who have mastered Overblows and Overdraws.  These are the very same harmonicas that Jason performs and records with.  They are tuned to Jason Ricci’s preferred tuning of 19-Limit Just Intonation @A=442 Hz.  This tuning provides the versatility to play virtually any style of music.  They are available in six different keys:

• Keys of G, A, Bb, C and D using Hohner Marine Crossover Reed Plates
• Key of Low F using Hohner Marine Band Thunderbird Reed Plates

The Resin Combs are available in three different colors:

• Black Paper Resin
• Natural Paper Resin
• Linen Fiber Resin

There is zero difference in the tone produced by the different colors.  The paper and cotton fiber fillers produce the warm rich tone of wood combs.  All the combs will feature “Jason Ricci” engraved on the back.  The Black and Natural Resin Combs will have the engraving filled in with white paint. The Linen Fiber Resin Combs will not have the engraving filled in with paint.  The blonde color of the combs provide a nice contrast to the charred engraving from the laser. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will be able to choose the key and the cover style, but you will not be able to choose which color comb you get.  There are a limited number of these harmonicas available.  They are pre-built and Ready-to-Go.  I simply do not have the bandwidth to provide you with the luxury of choosing the keys, covers AND comb colors.  Please do not email or message me to ask about making changes to these harmonicas.  They are what they are.  Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Every Custom Harmonica comes with a Top to Bottom One Year Warranty.  If ANYTHING goes wrong with your harp in the first year, we will fix it at NO CHARGE.  This includes blown out reeds or anything else that can go wrong with a harp.  After one year, we will service your harp for a flat rate of $25.00.  That would include cleaning, tuning, replacing any blown out reeds and in general, making the harp look and play like the day you got it.
