The Echo Super Vamper is the UK equivalent of the Marine Band 1896 which was marketed in the U.S. The only difference is the stamping on the top cover (bottom for Sonny). Sonny was very fond of the Super Vamper. There are only a handful in the collection making them both rare and valuable. This harp shows significant signs of use. The covers are worn and show a wonderful patina from Sonny's lips. The backs of the covers have been crushed by Sonny's powerful hands to the point of almost being completely closed off on the lower end of the harp. Sonny liked the Super Vampers and this was evidently one of his favorites.

The harmonica will be shipped in an attractive shadow box display case, and will include an 8X10 glossy black and white photo of Sonny - suitable for framing. An individually signed Certificate of Authenticity and Bill of Sale will also be included.
