This is an original signed APA (Agency for the Performing Arts Inc.) Agreement.  As you may be aware, Sonny was mostly blind and illeterate, consequently none of the contracts have actual signatures by Sonny.  Some have an X.  Some have SONNY TERRY STAMPED on the paper.  Some have been signed by Sonny's wife Emma.  Any time you see a nice neat "Sonny Terr" signature, you can assume that it was Emma who signed on behalf of Sonny.  However, Brownie's signatures are very elegant.
