This Marine Band 1896 shows signs of significant use.  According to Blues Harmonica Guru and Harmonica Historian Joe Filisko, Sonny’s favorite key was the key of B.  This Marine Band in B was evidently played by Sonny until it just gave out.  The covers are stained/tarnished from prolonged exposure to Sonny’s hands, lips and tongue.  There is a lot of dried-up saliva inside the comb, as evidenced by the photos.  This is very collectible harmonica.

• An attractive Shadow Box Display Case with a brief Biography of Sonny with which to display your estate harmonica.
• A stock black and white photo of either Sonny alone or Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee – suitable for framing. These photos were provided by Hohner and were the photos that Sonny might hand out at performances.   (Picture frame not included.)
