This is a very colorful poster with hot pink and black print on a tan background. 

Festival International de Jazz Montreux

The festival ran from June 29, 1973 through July 15, 1973.  The poster provides a long list of more than 50 artists who will preform at the festival, including Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Freddie King, Dr. John, John Lee Hooker, Clarence Brown, Albert King and many others.  The festival featured “U.S. High School & university Jazz Bands plus Top American Soloists”.  What is noteworthy is that Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee are the very first artists listed, giving an indication of their star power in 1973.  The poster has been previously folded but has been professionally flattened and is in excellent condition.

The Program is in perfect condition.
