GOLDEN MELODY PAPERSTONE®

Our custom Golden Melody combs are essentially CNC Milled clones of the stock GM comb.  We use a variety of materials including Acrylic, Solid Surface (Counter-top material such as Dupont™ Corian®), Aircraft Grade Aluminum (which is then anodized), Brass and PaperStone®.  The Golden Melody is an elegantly designed harmonica.  Look closely and you will see how the covers, the reed plates and the comb fit together seamlessly.  Virtually every other after-market comb maker offers Golden Melody combs that are flat.  Their combs do not have support posts for the covers (at the cover screw holes), nor do they have the two tiered design that makes it impossible to misalign the reed plates and creates the seamless integration with the covers.  The stock Golden Melody comb is beautifully designed.  Our combs are exact duplicates except they are CNC Milled instead of injection molded, and they are available in a wide variety of materials and colors.

PLEASE NOTE:  THESE COMBS FIT THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE GOLDEN MELODY.  THEY DO NOT FIT THE NEWER VERSION OF THE GOLDEN MELODY THAT WAS INTRODUCED IN 2023.  AT PRESENT, WE DO NOT OFFER A COMB TO FIT THE NEW DESIGN.

Per the maker’s website, PaperStone® is an ecofriendly material that is produced in a socially responsible manner. It is also strong and tough. It has steel-like strength in span, stone-like beauty and it can be worked like hardwoods. PaperStone® is NSF certified as safe for direct food contact.  It is available in a broad variety of colors.  At present, I am using three – Azure, Pewter, Honey, Slate and, for you wine lovers, Cabernet.
