This is a fully customized Hohner MS-Series Blue Midnight, with Cross Harp Reed Plates in the Key of B.   Blue Midnight covers are identical to MS-Series Blues Harp covers other than the stamping on the top cover.  Cross Harp Reed Plates are a little bit thicker than the other MS-Series Reed Plates.  The standard thickness on MS-Series plates is .90mm.  Cross Harp plates are 1.05mm thick, which is the same as the Meisterklasse reed plates.  Is thicker better?  A lot people believe that thicker plates produce better response and more volume.  This harmonica features a beautiful CNC Milled Leopardwood Comb.    It has a medium tight Traditional Blues Setup and is Overblow Friendly on 4, 5, and 6.
